Long Weekend!

{So this picture pretty much sums up how we felt after our weekend!! I love how Bruno is passed out on the floor too! He has a rough life!}

Saturday Josh played in a golf tournament, and then we all went to the park for a family BBQ with lots of Josh's relatives. Then after the BBQ I had a family session to do. Then Josh had to clean a Zion's Branch etc.... Then the really crazy part of the weekend hit on Sunday afternoon. Josh said he wasn't feeling that well, but he went and ran his 12 mile run at around 1. He came home and was feeling pretty crappy all afternoon and told me that it was the worst run he has ever had and couldn't even finish. He lounged around all day, but was kind of able to help me with the boys even though he wasn't feeling that great. We put the boys down at 8 and Josh went to bed at 8 as well. At about 945 I was in the basement and heard a loud thud. I ran up the stairs to find Josh curled up on the bathroom floor. I ran to him and his eyes were open but he wasn't responding to me. I was hysterical and screaming to him that I was going to call 911. He finally came to and said, "where am I?" After a couple of minutes he was realizing what happened and was able to carry on a conversation with me. He wasn't feeling good though and once he started to sit up he started throwing up uncontrollably. I was panicking but was able to get him cleaned up and back to bed. Then I decided I was going to take him to the ER, he fought it pretty hard but I finally was able to get him to go. Luckily we live close by his parents and they came up to stay with the boys while I took Josh to the hospital. After 4 hours at Davis Hospital we were glad to find out he didn't have swine flu, but his blood work showed he was really dehydrated. We also think he had some kind of stomach bug too! They gave him some anti nausea medicine and some fluids through an IV and sent us home. I cancelled all of his job on Monday but he was back to work today and is feeling much better!

Very crazy weekend..... I am so glad he is ok! It was a very scary night!

My Husband is a Stud

Josh went fishing last week at a place called Deseret Land & Livestock.... He has been up there 4 times now and always catches pretty good sized fish... but this fish was a monster! It was a 12lb trout... which is HUGE!!! It almost looks more like a salmon or something because it is so big!! Luckily he had a 5 year old disposable camera on his pontoon boat so we all believe him that it really was a big fish!!

The other thing cool is that he caught this on a fly rod. I guess that is cool... I don't really get it but I think it is a lot harder to catch big fish when you are fly fishing!

Last night Josh was on the computer and he asked me if I had blogged his fish yet!! lol! So I thought I better get it up here!!

So I haven't been good about posting pictures of our family since I started taking pictures of other people! But over memorial day weekend we went camping with Josh's family and I actually had my  picture taken with my boys!!

We had a super fun time camping. The food is always the best... I probably gained 10 pounds while we were there, but nothing beats campfire food!!

Josh & the Boys

This picture was taken after Josh ran in a half marathon over memorial day weekend! This is a big deal to run in a half marathon, but he ran in one two weekends in a row!! He did so good... he came in at the Ogden marathon in 1 hr 39 minutes. He has just taken up running over the past year and has really grown to love it! I am so proud of him and how dedicated he is once he gets his mind set on something! 

I have been super busy with pictures and the boys, and Josh has been super busy cleaning carpet, finishing up his EMT class and running. The boys well they have been super busy being 2! 

Also I forgot to mention the day before I went to WA last time Josh's Mom took Me and Josh's Sister to Wicked! That was incredible! Definitely need to go to that if you ever have an opportunity!! 

On a completely different note... I really want to paint my kitchen cabinets. Anyone have some good ideas for me? Or good ideas on how to convince Josh to help me?

Also I read this post today from NieNie and loved it. I think you will too. I love Josh like that... I really do!
