One thing I am thankful for today is my sweet/photogenic sister. She went with me to do a 20 minute photo shoot. Unfortunately it started getting dark, but she was so kind to let me practice on her!! Here are a few from tonight! We had a great Thanksgiving and hope you all did too!!

Last night I went to Twilight!! I went to the 10:45 show and didn't have any problems staying awake! So I don't know if I just didn't have that high of expectations or what, but I totally loved the movie!! Yes there were a few cheesy parts, and the movie moved 100X faster than the books, (but it has to right?) but let me just tell you it definitely rekindled my flame for Edward!! Josh is totally ok with that too! You can all call me a teenager if you want, but I seriously love him! Before the movie came out I wasn't sure I was going to love him just from the pictures I saw, but I did! I think there are a lot of people who are just completely picking the movie apart... which is fine, but I am just easy to please I guess. I think overall, all the characters were pretty close to what I imagined them as. I will say I wasn't a fan of Jacob though, and Carlisle seemed a little young to me... but that is ok I still think he did a good job! I think the makeup was great... they looked vampirish (is that a word) but not too freaky! I think Bella and Edward were perfect together!!! Anyways... what did you think of it? I really think I am super easy to please in the movie category... so I would be curious to see what everyone else thought!

Also... I will have to say that I may not have loved it a ton if I hadn't read the books. It was great though just to see the characters I have read 10billion pages about.

Day at the Park

The boys were getting a little restless this morning so we decided to head to the park for a while. It was nice because Josh was just finishing up a job nearby so he came and played with us for a little bit. I can't believe how fearless the boys are becoming. They totally climbed up the stairs to a tall slide without even thinking twice!! They even went down a couple of the big slides on their own! (Josh was helping at the top and I was waiting at the bottom) When I took them to this park a few months ago they didn't even like to walk in the sand because it was uneven ground!! Amazing how much things change in a couple of months! I am glad that it is still pretty warm and we are almost to December! In Josh's words "Global Warming Rocks!" Joking of course! =)

So I am starting to realize how big the boys are getting. Last night I was making chicken chili for dinner(Recipe Courtesy of Ash.... It was awesome by the way!! ) and as I was putting the beans in the pan I dripped some of the liquid from the can on the floor. I didn't even say anything at all... I may have gasped but I didn't say a word. Sweet Mason next to me said " Oh gosh" and then he continued to repeat it about five times! It is hard to type exactly how he said it but it was pretty clear to me that it was an "oh gosh." So this has made me realize that I really need to watch what I say. Not that Oh gosh is so bad... but it definitely made me think about what things I want my babies hearing me say. Mason has also repeated me when I have said "Crap" and "Holy Cow." I will have to admit "Holy Cow" was pretty funny. It was more like "Howy COWWWW" really drawn out. Anyways I guess I need to start watching my mouth!! I am glad I am not a cusser... or I would really be panicking right now!

So since I am obsessed with photshop lately I couldn't post something without a picture. These are from the days in the NICU when I probably hadn't even heard them really cry yet.... can you believe how tiny they were???

P.S. We took them in for their 18 month appt. 3 months late!!

Maddox was 26 lbs

Mason was 23 lbs 15 oz.

I don't have their chart in front of me but they were both short. Like 10th percentile! Mason was in the 25th percentile for weight and Maddox was in the 45th for weight. My kids always do well in the head circumference category though!! Mason's head was 2o inches and Maddox's was 21 inches. I will just say their heads ranked up there pretty high in the charts! I guess that means they have pretty large brains! That's good to know!

What to do??

Josh went fishing with his Dad today... Karen offered to take the boys so I could get a break. I have had over 2 hours and all I have done is play on photoshop! There are so many possibilites... maybe I will clean, grocery shop, or maybe... I will read a book and take a nap! I am just not sure what I should do with myself. What do you do when you get a break?

After Photoshop Obsession

I still don't know what I am doing, but I am having fun trying to learn photoshop. Here are a few older pictures after I did some editing. The top is my nephew Carson last Christmas. The second is my nephew Jake Two years ago at Christmas, and the bottom is My brother inlaw Troy with his two mini me's Gunner and Jake.

Halloween

I love this picture!! They were super happy about getting their picture taken!!

This year the boys dressed up in the costumes of their Daddy's two favorite hobbies!! Mason was a flyfisherman and Maddox was a golfer! Mason wasn't interested in his hat at all... Maddox on the other hand left his hat on all night!! He was definitely thinking he was cool. We took the boys over to Grandma DiAnn's to show her their costumes and get a bunch of treats, then we headed down to Papa Joe's and NinNin's. We went trick or treating in their neighborhood. The boys actually started to get the hang of it after a few houses!! Before we came home we stopped at a few houses in our neighborhood and got a few more treats!! We had a fun night... and loved watching the boys run around with their treat bags!! I can't believe how big my babies are!

P.S. My awesome parents just bought me photoshop (thanks to Weber State Student Discount).... like the real deal. I have no clue what I am doing... but am doing a lot of playing. So............ that is the explanation for any strange looking pictures!!
