Deal of the year!

So all summer I was on Josh's case to build a sandbox like the Pottery Barn ones that have canopies. Well he was super busy and just never got around to it. So I thought that there was no chance of a Sandbox for this year.... Well towards the end of Sept. my sister Katie was here and we made a trip to Down East. They had this little baby (pictured below) out in the front without a tag. I figured that it probably wasn't that affordable even though it was at Downeast. Well as we were leaving I decided to ask what the price was. The girl didn't know so she made a couple of calls and told me it was.........$100!! Yeah so I bought it! I am super happy Josh didn't build one... because I know he could have done a great Job. I just don't know that it would have had the same Safari Jeep detail!! Now I am just going to need to make a canopy for next year. Unfortunately PB sells the canopy with the sandbox and doesn't sell it separately!!
The boys had to wait all year for it... but they finally got their sandbox!!

Pumpkin Patch minus the actual pumpkin patch

Last night we took the kids to a fun corn maze/petting zoo/straw maze/ everything else you could think of. I actually didn't even see a pumpkin patch... they just sold them by the entrance... but there was plenty to keep us entertained!! The boys had so much fun... I would like to take them again next week so if anyone wants to go let me know!!

The boys trying to pet the cow

Mase loved it when the cow licked his fingers!! (Abby I am sorry.. I am sure that grosses you out!!)
Maddox's favorite thing was the straw maze...

He didn't even know where we were... and he didn't care!! ( I was keeping a close eye on him from a distance) Max

I love this face (Mason)

Mason loved the animals, that was his favorite part... this goat was super friendly! It made me want a goat!

Maddox really loved the corn box... he decided to take a little rest in there!!

Brighton Weekend

So Josh has been doing some work for trade with a lady who has access to these Condos up at Brighton over the past year. We have been saving up the amount of credit we have and we ended up with enough to get their biggest condo and take Josh's family up there with us. We went at the end of Sept. when the leaves were changing, and it was beautiful!! Unfortunately I was still wearing my boot... so we couldn't go on the hike with everyone but we did get to do a mini little hike around this gorgeous lake. It had a trail and boardwalk all the way around it and the boys loved it! We are hoping to make this a tradition every year! The condo had so much space and the great room/ kitchen area was a perfect setup for everyone to hang out!!
