Montana Trip
Josh and I, and the babies are heading out again for a few days. My Grandpa Gray passed away last week and his funeral is on Saturday in Montana. We are leaving bright and early tomorrow morning to make the drive up to Simms, MT (near Great Falls). I am not excited for the 8 hour drive, but I would never miss his funeral.
Although I always lived quite a ways away from my Grandparents I always felt a deep love for them. My Grandma and Grandpa were sweethearts. All my memories of them were of them holding hands and Grandma sitting on Grandpa's lap. My Grandpa had a great sense of humor, and didn't hold back from telling a dirty joke every once in a while. He had a great mind all of his 91 years, and was a great story teller. I loved hearing stories about my Dad growing up and about how he met my Grandma. My Grandma died in 1999 and my Grandpa has been missing her since then, I am glad to have the knowledge that they are together again. Although he will be greatly missed I know me and my family will see him again someday.
So... keep us in your prayers as we make the drive tomorrow!! Hopefully the weather will stay good for us, and hopefully the babies will stay good for us as well!
P.S. I was really wanting to get all of our Christmas stuff posted, but I guess it will have to wait for a few more days!! Have a good weekend!

My first photo shoot!
Anyone who knows me well, knows that I love to take pictures! I have always wanted to be a photographer, but just never done anything about it. I love taking pictures of my own kids, but before I had mine I loved taking pictures of my sisters!! I definitely have a lot to learn before I could be a photographer, but my sister wanted me to take pictures of her kids for her Christmas cards... so I agreed willingly! Well it was quite the experience. Carson wasn't very cooperative, but we managed to get some of him on his own. Isabel wasn't cooperating either, but we got some cute ones of her on her own..... but not much success of them together unfortunately!! I definitely need to learn a lot about posing and keeping toddlers happy before I could ever be a professional photographer!! It took a lot of patience and hard work to get what we have!! It makes things a lot easier when you are taking pictures of such beautiful kids!!
My pay for this long day of picture taking was an awesome hair cut and color!! Thanks Katie!!
Below are some of the results from the day!

Polar Express
Josh's mom is always buying us tickets to fun events, and she bought us all tickets to the Polar express this year. If you aren't familiar with it, it is a ride on a 100 year old train in Heber City called the Heber Creeper! On the train you drink hot chocolate and eat cookies and they read the Polar express. Once we reach the North Pole Santa comes aboard and gives all the kids a bell. On the return trip we sing Christmas songs and the elves tell jokes! It is a neat little event to do... our kids weren't quite old enough to appreciate it... Maddox cried the entire time, so I was in the aisle bouncing for the majority of the trip, but it was a fun night anyways! Thanks DiAnn!
