Mason

I have been such a slacker on our family blog lately, which isn't good because it is supposed to be somewhat of a journal for us!! So I thought I would do a little catch up on what the boys are doing these days. I took these pictures of Mason when I was in WA last month visiting my family and taking lots of pictures. I had like 5 minutes to take pictures of my boys before my sister came with her kids, but I thought I would give it a try! I didn't have anyone there to help me with them, but I think I really captured our little Mase as he truly is.

Mason is our little stinker these days! He just has mischief in his eyes! He has 2 speeds.... standing still or sprinting! When he is into something he shouldn't be and I come to take it away he likes to throw it up in the air and run! He loves to torment Bruno (our shi tzu) and thinks it is hilarious when Bruno growls at him. He is completely obsessed with Dinosaurs! He can name soooo many dinosaurs. There is one we are still trying to figure out what he is actually saying, but it sounds like "crap-a-sauras! Mason is super smart and remembers everything we say! A great example of this was last month as we were getting into the Tri-Cities we drove over the blue bridge. I was telling the boys to look out the window at the Columbia River. That was pretty much the extent of the conversation. Two weeks later we were in Yellowstone with Josh's family. Our first day in the park we pointed out the pretty river to the boys. Mason immediately said, "There is the Columbia Riber." Amazing! He is also getting very good with his alphabet and can recognize all of his letters by sight and knows pretty much all of the letter sounds!
Mason doesn't really love to share right now. In WA my mom asked Mason if she could hold his dinosaur book while he was eating...he yellled, "IT'S BERY MINE!" Since then he has continued saying this. It was awesome at Macy's when we bought them new shirts and the lady needed to ring us up Mason yelled "IT'S BERY MINE!" His latest thing that he is doing that is super sweet, is no matter if he is hurt, it is time for bed, he is in trouble, he is mad.... you name it he is always saying "mommy rock you" and he really wants me to drop everything and carry him upstairs to the rocking chair and rock him. So as much of a stinker as he can be... he really is so sweet too!

Lastly... probably one of my favorite thing about Mason right now is that he really annunciates very well. His mouth is sooo cute when he talks because his lips are so exaggerated no matter what he is saying!! So these pictures are just a little example of Mase being Mase!!
