Last night I went to Twilight!! I went to the 10:45 show and didn't have any problems staying awake! So I don't know if I just didn't have that high of expectations or what, but I totally loved the movie!! Yes there were a few cheesy parts, and the movie moved 100X faster than the books, (but it has to right?) but let me just tell you it definitely rekindled my flame for Edward!! Josh is totally ok with that too! You can all call me a teenager if you want, but I seriously love him! Before the movie came out I wasn't sure I was going to love him just from the pictures I saw, but I did! I think there are a lot of people who are just completely picking the movie apart... which is fine, but I am just easy to please I guess. I think overall, all the characters were pretty close to what I imagined them as. I will say I wasn't a fan of Jacob though, and Carlisle seemed a little young to me... but that is ok I still think he did a good job! I think the makeup was great... they looked vampirish (is that a word) but not too freaky! I think Bella and Edward were perfect together!!! Anyways... what did you think of it? I really think I am super easy to please in the movie category... so I would be curious to see what everyone else thought!

Also... I will have to say that I may not have loved it a ton if I hadn't read the books. It was great though just to see the characters I have read 10billion pages about.

Meggs, I totallt agree with you. I REALLY liked it a lot! I just smiled all the way through it. I loved all the characters, Mike and jessica were too cute! I LOVED THE CULLENs!! Every one of them! Loved bella loved charlie, loved her mom. LOVED the baseball scene. My favorite- i could toally play with them. I would see it 3 more times. When are you going to washington- we should meet up and watch it! Love that you loved it!
Okay, just let me start by saying I was completely Anti-Twilight, & I was dreading even going to the movie. (My mom & niece made me go...I was so super bummed that I wasn't going to Celine that night).
I had zero expectations, had only heard just about everything about the books from all my crazy friends that were obsessed & in love with Edward, and was so embarrassed that I was actually going to this weird movie on opening night that I could hardly stand it....
Well I actually Loved the Movie. Really I did!
The cheesy parts didn't even bug me because I guess I was just expecting it to be that way. I did love Edward & not Jacob. I thought the acting was good & I liked the music too. The only thing that even bugged me were all the geeks in their t-shirts & that fact that they just had to scream & ooh & awe every time Edward came on the screen & when they finally kissed.
Will I read the book? probably not...but I'm not saying Hell no anymore.

I haven't got to see the movie yet, but I loved the books! I can't wait to go see it with my girlfriends!! And I'm glad to her that Edward is hot in the movie...because they sure make him sound hot in the book!;) Can't wait to see it!
I would agree. I loved the movie and I think all the characters were right except Jacob also. I was also worried about Edward but I fell in love with him in the first 5 minutes of the show. I love the chemistry between him and Bella. Love Love the movie.
Hey there! I haven't seen you in ages! Your little boys are precious! So, Rosie keeps trying to get me to read these books. They must be as good as she says since everyone reads em'. Maybe I'll give em' a try then watch the movie even though I'm tempted to watch the movie first. I'm sure glad that you're doing well!
Lol- you stayed awake?!?! Have to admit my surprise there :) I was worried when I found out u were going so late! Glad you liked it. I did too, but, I, with you am easy to please in the entertainment dept.
